Homemade Low Carb Pizza

Ingredients
Pizza Base:
- 2½ cups mozzarella cheese grated
- 1 egg
- 1¼ cups almond flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170C.
- Melt cheese in microwave in bursts of 30 second intervals.
- When completely melted, remove and place into a food processor along with all remaining pizza based ingredients. Blitz until dough forms a smooth ball.
- Divide mixture in half and roll between two sheets of baking paper until desired thickness (approximately 5mm thick.)
- Remove only the top layer of paper. Cut dough into a circle or just leave as is for a more rustic feel.
- Place on a baking tray and bake for approximately 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
- Spread pizza base with tomato paste and top with your favourite toppings.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until toppings are cooked.
