Mixed Berry Crumble

Mixed Berry Crumble

Experience the joy of this delicious mixed berry crumble, perfect for cozy winter days. Each spoonful brings luscious flavours that turn ordinary moments into extraordinary ones.

Ingredients
  

CRUMBLE TOPPING

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp monk fruit sweetener
  • ½ tsp cinnamon ground
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ¼ cup melted butter

FILLING

  • 500 g mixed berries
  • 1 tbsp monk fruit sweetener optional
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 lemon zested

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 160°C.
  • Add all crumble ingredients to a medium mixing bowl and mix until well combined. Set aside.
  • Gently mix all filling ingredients in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  • Spread filling in an even layer in a 20cm baking dish.
  • Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over the filling.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and filling is hot
  • Remove from oven, and serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream, coconut yogurt or natural unsweetened Greek yogurt.

Notes

  • Fresh or frozen berries can be used however if using frozen berries you'll need to defrost them before using.
  • If the crumble topping begins to brown too quickly cover with a sheet of foil to prevent it from burning.
  • Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Berries crumble can be frozen for up to 1 month.
