
Loaded Bunless Beef Burger
This mouthwatering bunless beef burger is a flavour explosion in every bite. Juicy seasoned patties, melted cheese, avocado and egg topped with a grilled portabello mushroom!

Ingredients
Beef Patty
- 1 kg beef mince
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 2 green onion finely chopped
- 100 g feta cheese crumbled
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- ½ tbsp paprika
Toppings
- 8 slices cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1½ avocadoes sliced thin
- ½ cup baby spinach leaves
- 4 tbsp sugar free tomato ketchup
- 4 portabello mushrooms
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl until well combined.
- Evenly divide the mixture into 8 equal parts.
- Using your hands shape each portion into a ball and then flatten slightly.
- Cover and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes
- Heat a large pan over a medium-high heat.
- Add the beef patties and cook for 3-4 minutes before flipping and cooking for another 3-4 minutes or until cooked through.
- Top each patty with a slice of cheese.
- Transfer to a baking tray and cover with foil to keep warm.
- Add the butter to the frying pan and cook the mushrooms until tender. Remove and keep warm.
- Cook the eggs sunny side up until cooked through.
To Assemble:
- Arrange some baby spinach leaves on each serving plate.
- Top with a burger patty, sliced avocado, ketchup, egg, another burger patty and finish with cooked portabello mushroom.
- Serve and enjoy!
